«Admiral.MarketDepth»

How does «Admiral.MarketDepth» work?

“Admiral.MarketDepth” includes: user scripts written in the language MQL4, the required DLL library, and “OneClickTradingNew.exe” application. Once a user attaches the “OneClickTrading” script to the chart in the trading terminal MetaTrader 4, the script immediately establishes a connection with the BBO (Best Bid and Offer, otherwise known as an ECN) server of our provider of liquidity. The connection, established through the “OneClickTradingNew.exe” application, allows you to broadcast a Market Depth for the selected instrument, namely the supply and demand from the 7 largest banks in the world. There are also the buttons “Buy”, “Sell” and “Close all” on the top part of the “Admiral.MarketDepth”, which enable you to open orders in one click or close all of them simultaneously. It also displays the current spread of the selected instrument. In the boxes “TP” and “SL” you can set a “Take Profit” and “Stop Loss” level in advance. They will work automatically for each order opened with “Admiral.MarketDepth”.

What displays in the Market Depth?

Our liquidity provider’s BBO server is connected with several major banks via the FIX protocol, and these banks offer their liquidity in the Forex market. We receive several price streams, with different spreads, from each bank. For instance, Deutsche Bank guarantees a EUR / USD spread of 0.8 pips when trading a volume no higher than $1,000,000, 1.1 pips with a volume no higher than $5,000,000, and 1.7 pips with a volume no higher than $8,000,000. Other banks deliver their streams to the BBO server the same way. The BBO server sorts the data out in real-time displaying the best Bid and Ask prices. You can see the result of this process in the “Admiral.MarketDepth” table.

How do you run the «Admiral.MarketDepth» in your trading terminal?

Please keep in mind that all features will only work on instruments with the suffix “-Pro”. The feature “OneClickTrading” will work fine on the other instruments with the exception of the Market Depth, which won’t be displayed. Instead you will see the Bid and Ask prices from our trading server.

“Admiral.MarketDepth” is already installed in the current version of the trading terminal. You just need to make sure that the “Expert Advisors” option was installed correctly. To do this go to the main menu and then “Tools -> Options -> Expert Advisors”, check the “Allow live trading” and the “Allow DLL imports” boxes. After that, move the “OneClickTrading” script from the list to the chart. Do this for each new chart. Changing the account or chart period stops all executable scripts. In this case you will have to restart “OneClickTrading”.

If “Meta Trader 4 Admiral Markets Edition” terminal was installed a long time ago and the “OneClickTrading” script is not in the list in the "Navigator" window, you need to download a new version of MetaTrader 4 and install it over the old one to the same location. This will ensure that all your personal terminal settings will be saved. After restarting the terminal, “OneClickTrading” will appear. In addition, you can set the "Admiral.MarketDepth" independently without having to reinstall the terminal. For this just download the "Admiral.MarketDepth" file as a separate archive, unzip it into the folder where your terminal was installed and restart the terminal.
